Asking For A Rise In Salary..........

The next day, the I received this letter of reply:

I kNOw you have been working very hard. NOwadays, NOthing much has changed. You must have NOticed that our company is NOt doing NOticeably well as yet .

NOw the newspaper are saying the world`s leading ecoNOmists are NOt sure if the United States may go into aNOther recession. After the NOvember presidential elections things may turn bad.

I have NOthing more to add NOw. You kNOw what I mean.

3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. ( For me I will rather spread my time poking! )

4. Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch. ( So very true! Surely ur Boss will not spend his time nursing u! )

5. Pay off your credit cards every month. ( Easier to say but dam hard to practice! )

6. You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree. ( Just let ur gf win & u r almost there! )

7. Cry with someone. It’s more healing than crying alone. ( Not applicable for guy! So sissy! )

8. It’s OK to get angry with God. He can take it. ( That is why I always blame GOD! Even our gov. blamed GOD! )

9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck. ( Easier to say then done. )

10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile. ( No problem for me. I don't really like chocolate! )

11. Make peace with your past so it won’t screw up the present. ( I do try to forget my past, like try to be more 'horny'! He! He! )

Bad Conductor!

THE BUS CONDUCTOR.

Nice puzzle - try to crack it ...

Once there was a bus conductor, who was very rude to his passengers.

One day a beautiful young girl, of around 18 years,tried to board the bus,but he didn't stop the bus.

Unfortunately the beautiful young girl came under the bus and died on the spot. Angry passengers took the conductor to the police station, who in turn took him to the court.

The judge was not at all impressed with him and gave him capital punishment.

He was taken to the electrocution chamber. There was a single chair in the center of the room and a single banana peel at one corner of the room. The conductor was strapped to the chair and high voltage current was given to him. But to everyone's amazement, he survived. The judge decided to set him free, and he returned to his profession.

After a few months, this time, a good looking middle aged woman tried to board the bus but the conductor didn't stop the bus. Unfortunately, this time also, the good looking middle aged woman came under the bus and died on the spot.

Again angry passengers took him to the police station, who in turn took him to the court. The judge took one look at the conductor and gave him capital punishment. The Bus conductor was taken to the same electrocution chamber where there was a single chair in the center of the room and a single banana peel at one corner of the room. A couple of months later, an elderly gentleman tried to board the bus.This time the Bus conductor, remembering his earlier experiences, stopped the bus. Unfortunately the elderly gentleman slipped and died due to his injuries. The conductor was taken to the police station and then to the court, to the same judge. Though he hadn't done anything wrong, but considering his past record the judge decided to set an example and gave him capital punishment. The Bus conductor was again taken to the same electrocution chamber where there was a single chair in the center of the room and a single banana peel at one corner of the room. He was strapped to the chair and high voltage current was given to him. This time he died instantly !!!!!!!!!!!

The question is why didn't he die on the first two occasions, but died instantly the third time??

During the first two times, the conductor was a Bad Conductor, therefore electricity didn't pass through him. But during the third time, he was a good conductor, so electricity passed through him freely and he died !!!!!!!!

SVS PC-12NSD Vs Paradigm DSP 3400

Or shall I say cylinder sub woofer vs boxed sub woofer? The SVS PC-12NSD is a powered cylinder sub woofer while the Paradigm is a more traditional boxed typed. Both sub woofers make use of the ported system. Ported sub has the advantage of being able to go low & loud while saving to power usage. The disadvantage is it size which is much bigger if compared to sealed sub woofer.

From the pic it look as if the SVS PC-12NSD is big towering over the Paradigm DSP 3400, but in actual fact it got a small foot print of just 17” in diameter. Thus this make placement of SVS PC-12NSD a easy task……..well u can place it almost anyway so long as it tall shape don’t block ur TV view.

So how is the performance of SVS PC-12NSD vs Paradigm DSP 3400? Well both sub woofer use ported enclosure system, while the SVS PC-12NSD use cylinder, the Paradigm DSP 3400 use the more traditional boxed design. In term of power the SVS PC-12NSD is more powerful at 325w using BASH plate amp where as the Paradigm DSP 3400 produce 300w using a ‘digital amp’. The SVS PC-12NSD use a 12” sub woofer while the Paradigm DSP 3400 use a 14” sub woofer.

Test tracks used to test the sub woofer performance are U571, Transformer, Ironman & some song, all in Dolby Digital 5.1 & DTS 5.1. And the finding is Paradigm DSP 3400 is a better sub when compare to the SVS PC-12NSD. The SVS PC-12NSD just can’t go as low as the Paradigm DSP 3400 & also it power output is not as powerful or as loud as the Paradigm DSP 3400 even though the SVS has a more powerful amp. Measured by SPL meter, to output the same level, the SVS gain level has to be set higher by about 10%.

Well I am actually not very surprise as this is a very unfair comparison as SVS PC-12NSD is the entry level subs where as the Paradigm DSP-3400 is the top range of the ported Paradigm sub woofer. Now if only I can get my hand on a SVS PC-13Ultra that will be a more suitable candidate.

As mention due to the small foot print of the SVS PC-12NSD, I placed the SVS PC-12NSD on the front left speaker of my system, while the Paradigm DSP 3400 is located on the rear right speaker. I like to place the SVS PC-12NSD in front as I want to show off the unique shape of the SVS power cylinder! And boy it did look good & very unique.

And due to its unique shape I do get some unique comment from my visitors………….like ‘What the fark is that thing!’, ‘U meant this big black bin is a sub?!!!’ and finally ‘What u r doing having a big DRUM in ur living room!’. And this remark come from my friend who is into car ice ( in car entertainment ). Apparently a car power sub cylinder is referring to as ‘drum’! And finally do I get objection from gf placing a big black ‘rubbish bin’ (which is her reference) in the living room? Yes! She did object and so I have no choice by try my best to ‘decorate’ it.

Are U A 'Rice Pot'!!!

If you've been eating rice and bread your whole life and feel no ill effects I don't see any reason for reducing the portion. Most people with rice as their staple have lived to a grand old age.

( Yah! I know! My grandfather live to a ripe old age having rice in all his meal. He don't even know the taste of a burger until I buy one for him. After having a big burger he must have rice against or else not filling! )

Those on high protein diet may be encouraged to persist with their diet after reading this message.

Eat Less Rice!

The human body was never meant to consume rice! You see, our genes have hardly changed in more than 30,000 years. However, our food choices and lifestyle have changed dramatically. The caveman would hardly recognize our food or way of life.

Caveman food was never cooked as fire was not yet tamed. Thus, he ate only those foods that you can eat without treatment with or by fire. He ate fruits, vegetables, fish (sushi anyone?), eggs, nuts and meat. Yes, even meat! You can even eat meat raw if you were starving in the forest. You have the necessary enzymes to digest meat.

However, rice, like wheat and corn, cannot be eaten raw. It must be cooked. Even if you were starving in the desert, you cannot eat rice in the raw form. This is because we do not have the system of enzymes to break rice down. You were never meant to eat rice. To make matters worse, you not only eat rice, but also make it the bulk of your food.

In some parts of Asia , rice forms up to 85% of the plate. Even if you take rice, keep it to a minimum. Remember, it is only for your tongue - not your body. Actually, rice and other grains like wheat and corn are actually worse than sugar. There are many reasons:

Rice becomes sugar - lots of it!

This is a fact that no nutritionist can deny: rice is chemically no different from sugar. One bowl of cooked rice is the caloric equal of 10 teaspoons of sugar. This does not matter whether it is white, brown or herbal rice. Brown rice is richer in fiber, some B vitamins and minerals but it is still the caloric equal of 10 teaspoons of sugar. To get the same 10 teaspoons of sugar, you need to consume lots of kangkong-10 bowls of it.

Rice is digested to become sugar.

Rice cannot be digested before it is thoroughly cooked. However, when thoroughly cooked, it becomes sugar and spikes circulating blood sugar within half an hour-almost as quickly as it would if you took a sugar candy. Rice is very low in the 'rainbow of anti-oxidants. '

This complete anti-oxidant rainbow is necessary for the effective and safe utilization of sugar. Fruits come with a sugar called fructose. However, they are not empty calories as the fruit is packed with a whole host of other nutrients that help its proper assimilation and digestion.

( Now I am sure when you are young our parent use to ask use to eat up lots of rice.........reason is you will growth up fast & be strong as a buffalo! And now I understand! Oh yes! Now I also know why those who eat lots & lots of rice are still so strong at night even after a hard day working in the field! )

Rice has no fiber.

The fiber of the kangkong fills you up long before your blood sugar spikes. This is because the fiber bulks and fills up your stomach. Since white rice has no fiber, you end up eating lots of 'calorie dense' food before you get filled up. Brown rice has more fiber but still the same amount of sugar.

Rice is tasteless-sugar is sweet.

There is only so much that you can eat at one sitting. How many teaspoons of sugar can you eat before you feel like throwing up? Could you imagine eating 10 teaspoons of sugar in one seating?
Rice is always the main part of the meal.
While sugar may fill your dessert or sweeten your coffee, it will never be the main part of any meal. You could eat maybe two to three teaspoons of sugar at one meal. However, you could easily eat the equal value of two to three bowls (20-30 teaspoons) of sugar in one meal. I am always amused when I see someone eat sometimes five bowls of rice (equals 50 teaspoons of sugar) and then asks for tea tarik kurang manis!

( This wan can't be help lah! Our parent not 'ang moh' lah! So since young we end up having rice only. But I am changing that in my family...........not because I am an 'ang moh' but because rice are now dam sexpensive! Having noodle are cheaper! )

There is no real 'built in' mechanism for us to prevent overeating of rice:

How much kangkong can you eat?
How much fried chicken can you eat?
How much steamed fish can you eat?
Think about that!

In one seating, you cannot take lots of chicken, fish or cucumber, but you can take lots of rice. Eating rice causes you to eat more salt. As rice is tasteless, you tend to consume more salt-another villain when it comes to high blood pressure. You tend to take more curry that has salt to help flavor rice. We also tend to consume more ketchup and soy sauce which are also rich in salt.

Eating rice causes you to drink less water.

The more rice you eat, the less water you will drink as there is no mechanism to prevent the overeating of rice. Rice, wheat and corn come hidden in our daily food. As rice is tasteless, it tends to end up in other foods that substitute rice like rice flour, noodles and bread. We tend to eat the hidden forms which still get digested into sugar.

Rice, even when cooked, is difficult to digest.

Can't eat raw rice? Try eating rice half cooked. Contrary to popular belief, rice is very difficult to digest. It is 'heavy stuff'. If you have problems with digestion, try skipping rice for a few days. You will be amazed at how the problem will just go away.

Rice prevents the absorption of several vitamins and minerals.

Rice when taken in bulk will reduce the absorption of vital nutrients like zinc, iron and the B vitamins.

Are you a rice addict? Going rice-less may not be easy but you can go rice-less. Eating less rice could be lot easier than you think. Here are some strategies that you can pursue in your quest to eat less rice:

Eat less rice-cut your rice by half.

Barry Sears, author of the Zone Diet, advises 'eating rice like spice'. Instead, increase your fruits and vegetables. Take more lean meats and fish. You can even take more eggs and nuts.

Have 'riceless' meals.

Take no rice or wheat at say, breakfast. Go for eggs instead.

Go on 'riceless' days.

Go 'western' once a week. ( Can! If only 'ang moh' food are cheaper! But unfortunately it is even more sexpensive then rice! )

Take no rice and breads for one day every week.

That can't be too difficult. Appreciate the richness of your food. Go for taste, colors and smells. Make eating a culinary delight. Enjoy your food in the original flavors.

Avoid the salt shaker or ketchup.

You will automatically eat less rice.

Eat your fruit dessert before (Yes! No printing error) your meals.

The fibre rich fruits will 'bulk up' in your stomach. Thus, you will eat less rice and more fruits.

It's your life. Decide what you want to eat! But eat less rice!

Being Screwed By A Lawyer!

The madam opened the brothel door in Winnipeg and saw a rather dignified,
well-dressed, good-looking man in his late forties or early fifties.

'May I help you sir?' she asked.

'I want to see Valerie,' the man replied.

'Sir, Valerie is one of our most expensive ladies.
Perhaps you would prefer someone else', said the madam.

Just then, Valerie appeared and announced to the man she charged $5000 a
visit.

Without hesitation, the man pulled out five thousand dollars and gave
it to Valerie,
and they went upstairs. After an hour, the man calmly left.

The next night, the man appeared again, once more demanding to see Valerie.

Valerie explained that no one had ever come back two nights in a row
as she was too expensive. But there were no discounts. The price was
still $5000..

Again, the man pulled out the money, gave it to Valerie,
and they went upstairs. After an hour, he left.

The following night the man was there yet again.
Everyone was astounded that he had come for a third consecutive night,
but he paid Valerie and they went upstairs..

After their session, Valerie said to the man, 'No one has ever been
with me three nights in a row. Where are you from?'

The man replied, ' Ontario .'

'Really', she said. 'I have family in Ontario .'

'I know.' the man said. 'Your sister died, and I am her attorney.
She asked me to give you your $15,000 inheritance.'

The moral of the story is that three things in life are certain.

A few years ago in order to earn some extra money; I took up part time as a direct sale agent but we were given title 'Product Executive'! In other word I become a salesman. This direct sale co. sell all sort of goods, everyday goods, from food stuff to health supplement to water filter to car engine oil! It is due to the wide range of goods with reasonable price that I joint in as sale agents or better know as 'Product Executive'. Due to mine hard work ( I really go around visiting household to household with samples ) I quickly rose to the rant of Manager better know as 'Product Manager' ( to me this is bullsh*it title, actually u have to work your a*ss off, some salesgirls actually sell 'themselves' to get the sale & u r still a 'SALEMAN'! ).

One of the goods that I advertise is the co's sanitary napkin!!! ( Actually I intended to take some pic & take apart the sanitary pad to show the feature. But after searching my gf room I couldn't find it. Lady where do u keep the sanitary pad? I don't ask from my gf lest that she want to know what the hell am I doing with it. Am I correct?? ) It is the only product needed by every single modern ladies. ( Some of u may say bra or panties, no true, some ladies go around without wearing bra or panties, ladies can do that, guys if u go around without wearing undies ur 'bro' will feel very weird & u will awake 'bro' at any time ).Now I am a guy selling a rather intimate ladies product, so how did I made the sale??

Knowing that it is one of the basic ladies need I quickly mention all its unique feature bla bla bla & bla. Most of the ladies I approach more or less know the feature of a sanitary napkin..... But wait, the sanitary napkin I sale is unique, it can act as 'panadol' if u have fever or headache.. U don't believed me, this is b'cos its contain a super absorbent gel which also absorb the 'heat' from your head hence your fever & headache will be gone.( actually any sanitary pad with high contain of the absorbent gel will do the job, it is not applicable to the tampex type which u poke into the 'hole' to absorber the period discharge ).

Actually this really work as while I am marketing the sanitary pad one of mine office stuff feel sick with high fever. With no panadol around, I have to apply the sanitary pad on his forehead & secure by cellophane tape. It worked! An hour later that fellow feel much better & the fever not so high. ( So do u think I get thanked for saving that fellow from high fever? No! Talk about ungrateful bugger. He scolds me & says it is extreme Bad luck!!He can forget about buying 4 D & wining any bet that he place for seven years with a sanitary pad stuck to his forehead. Such an ungrateful bugger! ) Nevertheless I sold off quite a few bags of sanitary pad that day.

Beside this u can also use the sanitary pad as emergency bandage to treat cut & wound as it is clean ( u don't apply used pad to the cut ) it & absorb blood & stop blood flow.

Being a good salesman I always do follow up with mine customer. From mine sanitary customer feedback who include girls, ladies & also aunties I find that the sanitary pad is no suitable for heavy discharge user & also it is also a bit expensive compare to those in the market. Mine advice to heavy discharge user is to change the pad more often ( more business for me ) & to save on pads use my advice which is to use folded tissue paper & apply on top of the pad hence u just discard the paper when it is 'full' ( but this method is not liked as got 'sticky' feeling )

Ladies now that u knows there are other usage beside sitting on it, u can keep a few more pieces in your handbag ( Oh come on! I know some ladies keep a few packs of condom in your handbag so why not a few packs of sanitary napkin also? ). Guys in case of emergency all u got to do is to raid the nearest handbag for sanitary pads ( u can find of sort of stuff in a ladies handbag, if u r lucky can also find condom ).

Now that is basically what I did a few years ago. But today the economy is getting from bad to worse & to save up for rainy day I think I might just have to become a sanitary pad salesman against but perhaps with other cheaper brand.

Paradigm DSP 3400

Paradigm DSP 3400 is a 14” sub woofer for HT (Home Theater). Now on this entry I will blog about my HT sub woofer & how I end up with Paradigm DSP 3400. Have a look at the pic below:-

It shows three sub woofers (Yes! I got three sub woofers, more about that in the later part of the post. Me being a smart Alex! )10” Roger Sub Woofer ASB100, 12” Sherwood Newcastle SP-312W & 14” Paradigm DSP 3400. See the size get bigger & bigger! From 10” to 12” & now to 14” (which is a very odd size as in most other brand of sub woofer it is 15”). Now sub woofer is a very important component in a HT audio set up. It denote the .1 part as in 5.1 (5 speakers), 6.1 (6 speakers) & 7.1 (7 speakers) set-up. Now if u want a good bass reproduction then size is important. The bigger the better! A good sub woofer has the abilities to add breath & depth to your music & movie watching session.

Another view of the three subs. As u can see the Paradigm DSP 3400 is one very big size sub, the size of a small safe, u can even play poker on it. Space plays a very important role in sub woofer design. Space as in the size of the sub woofer & the space which the sub woofer is place in i.e. for e.g. your living room space in cubic feet. Since my living room has a space of 5,000 (20'WX20'LX12.5'H) cubic feet, I have no choice but to buy a big sub with at least size 12” X two & above. Best will be 15” but 15” sub woofer is very rare & very expansive (In most case 15” sub woofer are mostly uses in top range model. This applies to Paradigm sub woofer as well; 15” is only use in their servo & reference sub woofer.) in my small town. Now the Paradigm DSP 3400 is most suitable for mid size space to large space up to 10,000 cubic feet, thus it can give good bass pounding performance without running out of steam.

The above pics show the three subs with the grill on. As shown in the previous pic the Paradigm DSP 3400 employed the ‘ported’ system to achieved good bass with low frequency respond down to 19Hz (although I believed it can go much lower than that as there are no distortion at all when I play some blu ray with good LFE effect), hence it got two very big port in front! Because of this two very big port (big enough for me to poke in my big hand) I think I have no choice but to put on the grill as it will be very bad if some mousy decided to crawl in & build a big nest inside (He! He! Before it did that I am sure the high sound pressure will kill it!) & the very real danger of some kids poking in his hand inside & worse still leaving his toys inside (This did happen to my front speakers which is also ported!)! But it does look very nice with the grill off, especially watching the huge Paradigm DSP 3400 14” woofer in action!

This is the backside view of the three subs. All the three look similar & very simple. Both Roger ASB100 & Sherwood Newcastle SP-312W are 100W RMS using class AB amplifier, while the Paradigm DSP 3400 use a 300W RMS sustained with peak power output at 900W digital amplifier which Paradigm called ‘Digital Sound Processor’ hence DSP. Now apart from size, if u wants to have good heart pounding bass the other factor to consider is power! The more powerful the sub amp is the better will be the bass performance! Now most new top range sub woofer employed powerful digital amplifier usually 1000W & above, as digital amplifier are more efficient (almost no heat at all). This is necessary as all top range sub woofer employed the ‘sealed’ enclosure type of sub woofer. The advantage is smaller size sub woofer, an important factor as ur ‘home minister’ (wife/gf) might not like the idea of a big black box being place in the living room! Actually for me size is not a problem as I do prefer a big size sub woofer to a small one as I got to brag to all my friends that I got a big sub woofer that can kick ass, & it did kick ass!

As mention before ported sub can give good bass respond minus the huge power needed to drive the sub woofer. Now being a cheapskate why should I pay extra (cheaper electric bill) for the huge power (1000W vs 300W) when I can have a better & more economy sub woofer with similar bass pounding performance? Hence that is why I buy Paradigm DSP 3400. Ok how is the performance? I will compare it like 10” vs 12” vs 14”.

The 10” Roger ASB100 is an entry level sub woofer. Previously I am using a Pioneer HTIB (Home Theater In a Box) with a 6” sub woofer so buying a Roger 10” sub woofer is a very big ‘improvement/up-grade’ for me!

Its performance? Well let just say it is like eating a plate of chicken rice with some chicken meat! Chicken rice without chicken is just like HT without a sub woofer! The Roger 10” did do what it is supposed to do that is bass production. Now this will be OK if u has a small space but my space is big so I end up cranking the sub at full blast. This resulted in heavy distortion & Ompppprarrarar! Ompppprarara!!! Most frustrating for me! So the Roger ASB100 to me is just like a plain plate of chicken rice!

Now I went & have a audition of my friend 12” sub woofer (Velodyne CHT-12R) & wow! It is good! Just an extra 2” but it make a big different! Being a poor fellow & a ‘smart Alex’ I go looking around for a cheapo 12” & I manage to find a ‘new old stock’ Sherwood Newcastle SP-312W 12” sub woofer! Well it performance is much better than the Roger! It can produce bass much better than the 10” Roger! It is now a Boom! Boom! Now it is like having a plate of ‘special’ chicken rice! Taste much better!

Should I be happy with my HT audio now? Well by right I should if I have stay at home & do what a man should do! But noooooooooo I got to go & listen to some sub woofer in action & that is what happens to me & the result is a big black ‘safe’(Paradigm DSP 3400) hiding in the back corner of my living room! Now when I listen to a really powerful sub woofer in action I not only get to hear the BOOM, but I also get to feel the BOOM! Well after some ‘consultation’ & the parameter (5,000 cubic feet) & my sub woofer usage (99.9% movie) the recommended sub for me is at least a 15” preferably a big power sealed enclosures type like for e.g. Velodyne SPL1500R, Velodyne DD15, Paradigm Servo 15” or Paradigm Reference 15”………..Wow! All these are top range sub woofer, buying it will cost me my arms & legs plus my ‘didi’ as well! Well out of my budget! Then I get to know about the Paradigm DSP 3400 which is the top range in the DSP series, the other in the range are the DSP 3100 10” & DSP 3200 12”.

It performance is I should say excellent! Perfect for mid to large space! It is really powerful & can produce a very big bass without distortion down to below 19Hz. Now I get not only to hear BOOOOMMMM! BOOOOMMMM! But also get to feel all the BOOOOMMMM! BOOOOMMMM! It did rattle all the glass panels & even the ceiling board! Now to me the Paradigm DSP 3400 is just like having a plate of very special chicken rice with all the added spices up chicken meat plus side dishes of strew pork leg!!! The sort of chicken rice which make u feel happy & satisfied after eating & which will make u want to eat some more!

That is how good the performance of Paradigm DSP 3400! So good in fact I am now re-watching all my blu ray collection! U-571 deep charge explosion is most addictive…..so are all the LFE effect in most of movies.

So the conclusion is? Well as mention before this is a sub for medium to large space! Definitely not suitable for those living in Condominium or those with fuzzy neighbors (it has the abilities to vibrate floor & wall as well). Size! Very big & heavy (29.5kg) so ‘Home Minister’ (wife/gf) might not approve! Simple control! In fact not control at all just the normal adjustment like cross-over, gain & phase! Not even a simple power-on switch! Everything is in ‘auto’ mode. Well I don’t really mind as for me being a lazy bum I just prefer to forget about the sub presence & just sit back to enjoy & feel all the BOOOMMM!!! Now to me being simple is also a plus as fewer things to broke down. Beside I am sure it will be more reliable as it is ‘Make In Canada’! So I am happy with Paradigm DSP 3400. In fact it get ‘award’ as one of the Home Theater-2008 Products Of The Year !

Phew!!! What a long post! I do hope my dear readers’ u r not bore reading this post! Well if u r bore how about reading an ‘alternative vision’ similar but different. However this ‘alternative vision’ is ‘unrated’ (horny) & not suitable for ‘holy’ reader!

Two traveling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family. The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion's guest room. Instead the angels were given a small space in the cold basement. As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it.

When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied,

"Things aren't always what they seem."

The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife. After sharing what little food they had the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night's rest. When the sun came up the next morning the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field. The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel how could you have let this happen? The first man had everything, yet you helped him, she accused. The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let the cow die.

"Things aren't always what they seem," the older angel replied.

"When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the wall.Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the wall so he wouldn't find it."

"Then last night as we slept in the farmer’s bed, the angel of death came for his wife. I gave him the cow instead.Things aren't always what they seem."

Sometimes that is exactly what happens when things don't turn out the way they should. If you have faith, you just need to trust that every outcome is always to your advantage. You just might not know it until sometime later...

Buying Gifts For Kids! What Types???!!!

So & so kids birthday is on whatever date & get ready to buy gift for the birthday kid! Now here come the problem! What sort of gift to buy? I just can’t simply buy any gift I want from the nearest toy shop because I have discovered that on a few occasion that poor birthday kid end up with several very similar toys.

Well I think I have solve the problem since I discovered Classic Kids Toys. Yes it is an online shopping mall for Kid’s Toys. Actually there is nothings classic about it, in fact just the opposite! In it I can find some very high tech toys under Robotics & RC Toys & if that is too high tech well how some good old faction Action Figures & for the ladies Dolls & Dollhouses will be my choice to choose a suitable toys. Now with so many types of toys to choose from I am sure my toy for birthday gifts will be very unique! The joy of receiving my special gift will be priceless!

Employed & Job Loss..........

Read the newspaper everyday & u can see the word 'Job Cut! Retrenchment! Salary Cut!' Well salary cut is better then job cut............at least u got some monies to pay off ur loan & maybe some left over to buy some food & entertainment!

Ever wander why some of ur friend get lay off first or have the first cut in salary while some still remain the same or worse still got some salary increment? Well read the following stories......

Story #1

Fox: "Do you know the time, because my watch is broken"

Lion: "Oh, I can easily fix the watch for you"

Fox: "Hmm... But it's a very complicated mechanism, and your big claws will only destroy it even more."

Lion: "Oh no, give it to me, and it will be fixed"

Fox: "That's ridiculous! Any fool knows that lazy lions with great claws cannot fix complicated watches"

Lion: "Sure they do, give it to me and it will be fixed"

The lion disappears into his cave, and after a while he comes back with the watch which is running perfectly. The fox is impressed, and the lion continues to lie lazily in the sun, looking very pleased with himself.

Soon a wolf comes along and stops to watch the lazy lion in the sun.

Wolf: "Can I come and watch TV tonight with you, because mine is broken"

Lion: "Oh, I can easily fix your TV for you"

Wolf: "You don't expect me to believe such rubbish, do you? There is no way that a lazy lion with big claws can fix a complicated TV.

Lion: "No problem. Do you want to try it?"

The lion goes into his cave, and after a while comes back with a perfectly fixed TV. The wolf goes away happily and amazed.

Scene : Inside the lion's cave. In one corner are half a dozen small and intelligent looking rabbits who are busily doing very complicated work with very detailed instruments. In the other corner lies a huge lion looking very pleased with himself.

Moral : IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY A MANAGER IS FAMOUS; LOOK AT THE WORK OF HIS SUBORDINATES.

Management Lesson in the context of the working world :

IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY SOMEONE UNDESERVED IS PROMOTED; LOOK AT THE WORK OF HIS SUBORDINATES

Now if u r the 'subordinates' of such a Boss then u r safe from job cut b'cos ur Boss need u & what u can do. In bad economy period it pay to 'protect' ur Boss as indirectly u r 'protecting' urself!

Story # 2

It's a fine sunny day in the forest and a rabbit is sitting outside his burrow, tippy-tapping on his typewriter. Along comes a fox, out for a walk.

Fox: "What are you working on?"

Rabbit: "My thesis."

Fox: "Hmm... What is it about?"

Rabbit: "Oh, I'm writing about how rabbits eat foxes."

Fox: "That's ridiculous ! Any fool knows that rabbits don't eat foxes!

Rabbit: "Come with me and I'll show you!"

They both disappear into the rabbit's burrow. After few minutes, gnawing on a fox bone, the rabbit returns to his typewriter and resumes typing.

Soon a wolf comes along and stops to watch the hardworking rabbit.

Wolf: "What's that you are writing?"

Rabbit: "I'm doing a thesis on how rabbits eat wolves."

Wolf: "you don't expect to get such rubbish published, do you?"

The rabbit and the wolf go into the burrow and again the rabbit returns by himself, after a few minutes, and goes back to typing.

Bear: "Well that's absurd !"

Rabbit: "Come into my home and I'll show you"

Scene : As they enter the burrow, the rabbit introduces the bear to the lion.

Moral: IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW SILLY YOUR THESIS TOPIC IS; WHAT MATTERS IS WHOM YOU HAVE AS A SUPERVISOR.

Management Lesson in the context of the working world:

IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW BAD YOUR PERFORMANCE IS; WHAT MATTERS IS WHETHER YOUR BOSS LIKES YOU OR NOT ( No longer applicable in bad economy time )

This is a very simple logic! Unpopular, unproductive stuff are the first to get the boot! So it pay to be 'productive', it might be a good ideal to learn new skill & most importantly show to ur Boss that u r a company 'asset' & not a 'liabilities' & of cause be in your Boss good book!

Pajero V46 2800 InterCooler Turbo Air-Con

My Pajero is giving me trouble. It is her air-con! It is suppose to blow out cool air but instead it blow out hot air ( the heater is not on, if fact it is not even connected ). I happen to be rather cold resistant ( since I am a big guy, beside if it get too cold I can always wear more cloths ) but I can’t stand the heat ( I am totally in-active when I get heated up. I have being on ‘heat’ lately whenever I drive my Pajero to work ). Not much choice really as it has being raining lately & part of the road is floated & so my Pajero is the only safe option as it is stand up to two feet of water!

Normally a car air-con is not cool if :-

1.the air-con gas is gone or not enough ( due to gas leakages, depend on where the leakage is the problem can be fixed inexpensively )

2.the air-con cooling fin is dirty ( so it is no longer efficient, just took out the cooling fins & clean it, not expensive but time consuming )

3.the air-con compressor is faulty ( have to buy a new compressor very expensive, in fact the most expensive component of a car air-con system )

4.the air-con control unit is faulty ( rather expensive, problem is finding parts or circuits but it is very rare to have this problem )

5.the air-con heat radiator ( located in front of the Pajero cooling radiator in the engine bay ) is blocked ( with dirt or cracked hence gas leakage, expensive as a Pagero has two air-con heat radiators one big & one small )

6.the air-con heat radiator’s fan is not working ( not too expensive a Pajero has two air-con radiator fans one big & one small, but it is time consuming to change them ) .

As the most common problem is dirty air-con cooling fins I agree to have it cleaned. A lot of work in taking apart the air-con cooling fins as my Pajero has dual air-con.

The Pajero front air-con is located just behind the glove compartment. The white box thing.

While the hind air-con is located inside the right ( driver side ) back panel.

The front air-con cooling fins inside the white air-con box. See it is very dirty with death insect stuck inside.

The hind air-con cooling fins, also very dirty, not death insect is found but got hairs ( I wander how the hairs got suck into there? ).

It is discovered that the front air-con cooling fin is leaking gas ( the second most expensive component of a car air-con system ) & because the leak is inside the cooling fin it can’t be sealed by aluminum welding. So no choice but to buy a new cooling fin. See the new & the old. Pajero air-con cooling fins ( Denso brand ) is the ‘bee hives’ type double layers with dense cooling fins. Dam expensive, cost me RM450-00 ( half of my salary gone ). And to keep the cooling fins clean & prevent insect from getting in I seal up the air-con outside air intake ( it is always advisable to close the outside air intake as insect will always end up in the cooling fin including dust & dirt ). With the new cooling fin installed the Pajero air-con's performance is now very cooling.

Inside temp is at 34C ( late afternoon, see I go to work inside an oven, arrive at office with my ‘ball’ half-cooked! How to drive & work like this ) before air-con is switch on.

Inside temp at 25C after half hour with air-con on at full blast! The temp will drop to 21C in two hours, at night it will drop to 19C! Very good performance! Money well spend ( but I have to forgo a few other ‘activities’ )!

To me a car air-con is very important part of a car. To me a car is worthless if its air-con is not functioning or not cool enough ( like a Kanari or Kancil both very nice car apart from it lousy air-con system ).

So to my dear readers, do u place a good car air-con highly when u buy a car?

Step 1 Check the firmware version currently installed in your BD player.

Step 1. Check the firmware version currently installed in your BD player

Follow the steps below to check the firmware version currently installed in your Panasonic BD player.

Steps

Turn on the main unit.
Press the [SETUP] button on the remote control to open the display menu screen.
Using the Up and Down cursor buttons on the remote control, select the "DISPLAY" tab - "DISPLAY" items will appear.
Press and hold the [STATUS] button on the remote control. While doing so, the current firmware version for your player will be displayed in the lower right hand corner of the screen (e.g. "1.0" in my set it shown 1.2) .

Please make note of this version number.

Step 2. Checking the latest firmware version available for your BD player

Confirm the latest firmware version that is available for "the Model Number of your BD player" by referencing the "Update Information" section provided above (near the top of this page).

Please compare this firmware version number to the version number of the firmware currently installed in your Panasonic BD player (the firmware currently installed in your Panasonic BD player was checked in "Step 1").

If the version of the firmware installed on your Panasonic BD player and the latest firmware version available are the same
>>No update is necessary.
If the version of the firmware installed on your Panasonic BD player is lower than the latest version available
>>Updating is recommended - Please continue to step 3

Note:

The firmware for your Panasonic BD player may not need to be updated even though a firmware update has been released - for example.

If your Panasonic BD player was manufactured after the firmware was released and the firmware update has already been installed.
If your Panasonic BD player was serviced by an authorized Panasonic service technician the player was updated with the latest firmware.

Before u can go to the following steps u need to agree to the 'agreement'.

DMP-BD30 Firmware Download (Oceania/Thai, S.E.Asia)

Step 4. Firmware decompression

Check the file size of the downloaded file and decompress it. Supported for Windows only.

Checking the file size.
Right click on the downloaded firmware, "UPDATE_BD30G_V21.exe" and select "Properties". Make sure that the size of the file is the same as the size listed on the download page.
If the file size differs, please download it again. After checking the size, click [OK] and the "Properties" window will close.
Decompressing the file
Double click the downloaded firmware "UPDATE_BD30G_V21.exe" and decompress it.
The decompressed file will be named "PANA_DVD.FRM".

File size is 24,310,931 bytes. (UPDATE_BD30G_V21.exe)

Note:
You will not be able to install firmware designated for a region that is different to the region in which you purchased your Panasonic BD player.

Step 5. Create a firmware update disc

To create a firmware update disc, write the decompressed file to a CD-R disc using CD-R writing software. Follow the operating instructions for the writing software to create the disc. Once the firmware update disc is created, continue to the next step.

1.About the CD-R disc:
If the firmware update disc has write errors, it will not be readable by the Panasonic BD player and you will not be able to update the firmware.

Always use a blank CD-R disc. Do not use a CD-RW disc.

2.About the CD-R writing software:
If you are creating the firmware update disc on a Microsoft Windows PC, we recommend using the standard Windows XP writing application.

BD Firmware Update Procedure (PDF)

Other writing software can be used, but please follow the operating instructions provided for the writing software. Please be aware that "packet-writing" is not supported ( in my case I use Nero data writting, worked perfectly the first time. Do remember to 'unzip' the download file so that it become PANA_DVD.FRM, this is the data u need to burn onto a new blank CD disk) .

Step 6. Install the firmware update

[CAUTION]:

It will take about 10 minutes to update the firmware. During the firmware update procedure, do not turn the Panasonic BD player off nor disconnect AC power. Do not press any buttons,except as instructed ( in my set it took about 9 minutes ).

Failure to do so may result in the Panasonic BD player becoming unresponsive which will require repair.

[Step-1]

Turn your Panasonic BD player on.

[Step-2]

Press [OPEN/CLOSE] on the Panasonic BD Player to open the disc tray. Load the firmware update disc and press [OPEN/CLOSE] on the Panasonic BD Player to close the disc tray.
DO NOT press any other buttons during the firmware update.
The Panasonic BD Player will first display "Bye" on the front panel display, automatically turn itself off and then, within a few seconds, restart again and automatically start installing the firmware from the firmware update disc.

NOTE: If the Panasonic BD Player does not restart automatically after it has turned off, please press [POWER] on the Panasonic BD Player - the Panasonic BD Player will then restart and install the firmware update as normal.

The time to complete the firmware update will vary, however the time should not exceed 15 minutes. Please be patient during the firmware upgrade!

NOTE: During the update process, various messages will show on the front panel display of the Panasonic BD player.

[Step-4]

When the firmware update is completed, "FINISH" is displayed on the front panel display of the Panasonic BD player and the disc tray opens automatically.
Please take out the firmware update disc and turn off power with the power button on the main unit. The firmware update installation procedure is now complete.

[CAUTION]

During the firmware update procedure, do not turn the unit off, disconnect it from AC power (outlet) and press any buttons except as instructed.
Failure to do so may result in an unresponsive unit that will require repair ( now if u have a TV set with HDMI control enable, switching off the Plasma/LCD MIGHT switch off the BD player when all this updating is on going, so it is a good idea to just left it on & don't touch any buttons when all this updating is going on! ).

[Note]:

If the firmware version currently installed in the Panasonic BD player is the same or more recent than the firmware version on the update disc, "UNSUP/PORT" will be displayed for approximately 5 seconds on the front display of the Panasonic BD player. In this case, an update is unnecessary -please remove the disc.

Well after doing all the above my set now show ver 2.1. To me not much different at all in my set operation & function. Actually I do this firmware updateing as my set cannot read some DVD ( ahem ahem vision ) which is playerable on DVD player, so it seem that my BD30 is 'sensitive' to some badly recorded DVD.

To my dear readers who own a Panasonic BD30 blu ray player u can give a a try but only if u r familia & confident or else it is best to ask Panasonic do do it.

Chinese New Year & Chinese Oranges. Look Before U Eat!

Chinese New Year is drawing near. When buy Chinese oranges please beware of the worms inside, look carefully! These worms are very similar to the texture of the orange and therefore can only be observe if you look carefully (long sighted person may not notice).

The Chinese government had in fact made effort to destroy hundreds of tons of these oranges and compensate the farmers for these. But however some culprit may still sell it illegally. That's why we need to be careful.

Whether the worms is harmful to the human body or not is still questionable. But generally if few numbers are consumed it should not make any harm according to doctors. It is advisable to be careful about it.

Well after looking at the above pictures my dear readers, what is do u think? As for me I think I have to look carefully before I poke all this oranges into my mouth! He! He! Normally I just poke whatever food I like into my mouth without much thinking! Ah! I think I have to be very careful when I eat this oranges from now on! So if u do see any visitors during this CNY visit examining this oranges before eating it might be b'cos of the worm inside & not b'cos they r rude!

If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse. For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would key in 4321. The ATM recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine. The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you.

This information was recently broadcast on TV and it states that it's seldom used because people don't known it exists.. Please pass this information to as many people as possible.

Now how true the above information is or whether it work or not, I don't know as I have never try it out. But in case of emergency it never hurt to try. I just hope that none of my dear readers got to try it out!

DIY Cleaning National Air-Con

Ok! Another DIY post! Well I do like to DIY whenever possible as I like to save some monies & of cause being a fussy fellow I like to get a job done to my satisfaction! This is my DIY National Air-Con, in this previous post I blog about DIY Toshiba ir-Con cleaning ( I got 4 air-con at home ). So this is how I spend my weekend, cleaning my very dirty National air-con.

As shown it is very dirty, the filter is clog with dust & even fine hair!!The cooling fins is being coated with dirt as well, no wander it is no so cool nowadays. Taking the whole casing apart only involve removing 4 screws. Two for the main cover, one to remove the lovern motor & one earthing screw. I have to remove the lovern assembly as I have to clean the blower fan's fin located inside the air-con unit as clean fan' fin is more efficient & quiet. Care must be taken when removing the lovern as it is secure by ledge. Normally air con cleaning just involve cleaning the filter & cooling fins, since I am doing the cleaning myself I might as well do a good job & give it a completed clean out.

Shown above the cleaned air-con part & cooling fins. Before cleaning the cooling fin made sure that you cover up the electrical board with plastic bag. Normally I use dishes washer to clean the various part but I sometime use liquid soap as it give a nice smell after that. I clean the cooling & blower fan fins using brush & sponges & clean off using garden hose ( after cleaning the air-con the room is almost flooded hence I end-up cleaning the room as well ).

Now for outside unit. To take out the fan I have to disassembler the casing which is a weird 2 blade design, so I might take apart its casing total number of screws is 14 plus one nut for the fan propeller. Now cleaning the cooling fins is easier using brush, dish washer & spraying it clean using garden hose. Care must be taken when taking apart the casing to avoid cut.

I have made a pervious entry on cleaning air-con, but on that occassion I am clean Toshiba air-con. It is much easier to clean Toshiba then National air-con. in term of usage I perfer Toshiba air-con to National now known as Panasonic. The whole process of cleaning air-con took me half a day.

Onkyo Tx-Sr875! Value for money! Feature wise!

HT is all in the rage now with the availabilities of HD Lcd & plasma Tv & most importantly the Blue Ray Disc & thus the blue ray player. Being a fellow who like to keep up with the latest gadget, so I too go & buy myself a Plasma Tv ( full post up with update later, but for now I have a write up on my Plasma Tv Full HD TH-50PY700H, it is on my other ‘unrated’ site aka ‘horny’ site! ) & also a Panasonic Blue Ray player DMP-BD30 ( full post up with update later, but for now got this ‘unrated’ post. ).

What is the use of having a good visual without the omp effect of a great audio effect? After all we are watching BD movie with all the latest sound effect here. That brings out the problem of buying the correct av receiver. I made the mistake of buying the wrong av amp, the Pioneer Vsx-917s, it is a great amp on its own right so long as u r not using it to watch BD. This is because it cannot decode Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio & DTS-HD High Resolution which is available in a BD movie.

Thus I have no choice but to buy the Onkyo Tx-Sr875, some brief spec of the av amp:-

Has the ability to decode all the latest BD sound code Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio & DTS-HD High Resolution which is available in a BD movie plus all the existing audio code DTS, DTS Es Discrete/Matrix, DTS Neo6, DTS 96/24, Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic IIx & Dolby Digital Ex ( This is a very important factors as most BD player can’t decode it, but recently some can, like Panasonic DMP-BD50 but it is real expansive. )

HDMI 4in 1out 1.3a version (4 HDMI in, the more the better as u can connected more HDMI device later, BD player, PS3 & media player & pc for eg 1HDMI out to Plasma/Lcd Tv, 2HDMI out will be better for another connection to projector for eg The latest Onkyo 876 got 2HDMI out)

Can do up-conversion from all video signal to 1080p ( This meant u can even use a normal DVD player which output video signal in 480p to 1080p using the on-board HQV Reon-VX chip, this chip is much better than most av using Faroudja chip. This feature is useful if u r still using a normal DVD player/sat receiver 480 video signal to 1080p, it result is input signal dependant. This feature is of not much use to me as my Panasonic DMP-BD30 already output all video to 1080p stage. As for my Astro decode, I did try it out using s-cable in up conversion to 1080p via HDMI, the picture quality is slightly better but not worth it as the Astro signal suck in the first place anyway. )

300w rms X 7 @ 4ohm, 250w rms X 7 @ 6ohm, 160w rms X 7 @ 8ohm ( The higher the better, do notice as the speaker ohm get smaller the power output increase. Hi-fi speaker at 4 ohm is rare & most speakers are rated in 6ohm & 8ohm. When buying or choosing an av amp do take note of the power output is rate at which ohm. If possible do compare all the amp power output at the same 6ohm range or 8ohm range. It is alway better to buy an amp with big output as u will not have restriction when buying HT speakers later, but then high output amp will cost more. )

Other extra feature. THX Certified Ultra 2. Audyssey MultEQ XT. 192/24 Bit Burr-Brown Audio DAC. Bi-Amping & BTL. Tone control setting 7 equalizer band for all 7 speaker ( can use it to control all speaker so that it got similar tone output ).Crossover for all individual 7 speaker ( most useful in speaker set up ).

The above is just some of the factors/feature I took into consideration when buying an av amp. As I mention I buy the wrong amp that is the Pioneer Vsx-917s. So here is the comparison, it is 14.5kg heavier, 15mm wider, 36mm higher, 106mm deeper & 210 watt more powerful! So in other word bigger in all sense, but then one Onkyo Tx-Sr875 is more than two Pioneer Vsx-917s in price!

The above two picture is a comparison between the Pioneer Vsx-917s & Onkyo Tx-Sr875 & u can see how heavy the Onkyo is in the second picture! The Onkyp tx-Sr875 weight in at 23.3kg! So care must be taken to ensure that your Tv cabinet rack can take the weight. Anyway due to it big size it will be a very tight squeeze to put the Onkyo Tx-Sr875 in most Tv cabinet. Now for most other av amp this will not be so much of consent but for the Onkyo Tx-Sr875 it is a big problem! This is because the Onkyo Tx-Sr875 runs hot! Very hot! In fact when the temp reaches 70c it will shut down.

Now to prevent this from happening I just put the Onkyo Tx-Sr875 on top of the Tv cabinet & for good measure I install two cpu cooling fan on top of it DIY style as shown by the two pic. I made use of two 5” cpu cooling fan as it is very cheap. For the cooling fans power I made use of any old h/p charger 3.6v so that the fan is running silently at low speed ( it is normally set to operate at 12v at full power but it will be very noisy ) & it will be enough, I find out that temp is only at 41c after using the av amp with volume set 42 point for a few hours as compare to 60c without the use of cooling fan.

Up-date.6-6-2010

I have 'up-grade' the two 5" cpu cooling fan to two 8" lap-top cooling fan. Some more the two new fan cum with 'bling bling' blue led! Look very nice & cool. The two 8" fan is source from two lap-top cooling fan as shown in the picture. I use just one mp3 usb power to power it. Before u buy similar lap-top cooler make sure that its 8" fan can be detached as some cannot be detached.

Oh yes u can accesses the ‘hidden’ manual of the Onkyo Tx-Sr875 by using this steps:- Press ( keep pressing ) the display button on the av amp ( not the remote display button ) then press the standby button once on the av amp once then release the display button the press the tone button in quick steps ( Apart from this steps Onkyo Tx-Sr875 have other ‘hidden’ manual which I didn’t use ).

Setting up the Onkyo Tx-Sr875 need some getting used to & I no choice but to read up the owner manual which is 118 pages thick! Connection is done via HDMI connection, Panasonic DMP BD30 HDMI out to Onkyo Tx-Sr875 HDMI in & then from Onkyo Tx-Sr875 HDMI out to Panasonic TH-50PY700 HDMI in. Picture setting is all set to 1080p.As for audio set up I made use of the Audyssey MultEQ XT set up system. Basically you just poke in the supplied setting up mic ( supplied with the amp ) & followed the on-scream display & the owner manual. Before this u has to made adjustment to the speaker type & number of speaker u have. Anyway after the set up I did make some minor adjustment to the speaker level. For better result I suggest making full use for all the 8 position.

It is most lucky for me as both my Plasma Tv & blu ray player are from Panasonic & thus I can make use of Panasonic Vierra Link system. It basically meant that switching on the BD player will automatically on the plasma as well with the corrected input too. Now if I set the Onkyo Tx-Sr875 HDMI setting to on it will even switch on the Onkyo Tx-Sr875 also. All very convenience but I didn't use this setting on the Onkyo Tx-Sr875 as it meant the amp will be in standby at all time so use up some electrical bill ( Yes I am a cheapskate! ). I am happy to note that the Onkyo Tx-Sr875 don’t have any ‘handshake’ problem which some other av amp have resulting in no picture or audio/video out of syn.

One other feature of Onkyo Tx-Sr875 which impresses me is its remote control. As shown on the above pic its remote is the biggest ( I also show my Pioneer Vsx-917s remote, silver. Its seem that the bigger remote u have the better the product is. In fact other brand av amp even got two remote, Denon for eg. ). What is so good about it is it can ‘learn’ to control other device! In this case I even set it up to control my Astro sat decoder & also the ceiling fan! Now that is the best OEM remote I have use so far.

In conclusion I am most happy with its performance & thus I have no regret using the Onkyo Tx-Sr875 as the centre of my HT system. You think it is an easy task? Think against! Now what exactly does a modern kitchen must have? Refrigerators, wall ovens, washing machines, food processors & so on & so forth, this are just some of the example of the kitchen appliances which you must buy for your kitchen.

But which types & brands to buy & it is within your budget? Well you can go to the nearest department store or visit all the electrical store in town & look at all the kitchen appliances which u have intention to buy. And I am sure after doing all the browsing & asking for all this kitchen appliances you still end up very confuse & undecided on exactly which types & brands of the kitchen appliances suit your kitchen.

He! He! Trusted me, I know as I have being doing that! Well I did find a better way of solving this task by having a look at online kitchen appliances store! This solves all the problem of what type, brand & my budget on buying kitchen appliances. So to all my dear readers, why don’t you give online buying a try? It will also save time & fuel visiting all the electrical store.

DIY Cleaning Toshiba Air-Con

Almost everyone have one or two air-con at home nowadays as it is now very cheap to buy an air-con. It is cheap to buy but the running cost depend on the brand and the air-con condition. Dirty ac is not efficient hence ur electricity bill will go up, ur ac will work extra hard 2 keep u cool in the long run increase the noise level of ac and workload of ac part. The following is mine own diy way of cleaning ac. This is one way to save monies & most importantly u can be sure that ur air-con are really clean.

1. Take off the ac cover thus exposing the inner part especially the cooling fin.

2.Cover up the ac electrical part with plastic bag. After that use water 2 hose down the cooling fin with water, made sure the water pressure is no high or else u will flatten the cooling fins. Use dishes cleaner or liquid soap 2 clean the cooling fin using soft brush, I use the largest water color brush to applied on the cooling fins then hose clean with water. Of course the water will flow onto the floor so I have rectangle container below the ac.

3.Clean the ac cover & filter & left it out 2 dry.

4.Now for ac outside units take off the covering & the fan exposing the evaporating fin. Hose clean with water first inside out then from behind the ac units.Clean the covering & fan.

After all the above u just reassembler back every thing. U will fine ur ac now cooler & not so noisy. I basically do the above every 3 months. I clean the air filter every 2 weeks.

Kindly noted that u can do the above if ur air-con outside unit is located in a accessible location. In my case I have purposely installed my air-con outside unite just 7 feet above ground level. Hence cleaning air-con outside unite is a easy job. He! He! But installing air-con outside in this low position invited thief to steal ur air-con outside unit ( Oh! Yes there have being cases of thief stealing air-con! ).

If u lived in an apartment or condominium please leave the cleaning of the air-con cleaning to professional! Well to all my dear readers that is one way to save some monies. Oh BTW I shall NOT be responsible for any 'accident' if u do try out the DIY! He! He!

Kick the nearest rubbish bin? Or do u do as what me friend usually do, that is buy a more expensive ticket from the tout nearby if he is lucky enough?

Well my friend use to do this as he is nuts about sports event like football matches or GP/F1. So trying to get all this tickets is a near impossible task, thus he always end up buying a more expensive tickets. Couldn’t really blame him as he has spent so much time & energy just waiting to buy the ticket only to be told ‘Tickets All Sold Out!!!’.

Nowadays he buy all this through 'Agent'! No more waiting in long line, but have to pay a bit more, well at least he got to buy the tickets.

Oh Dear! How I Wish I Am A Baby Against!

This is what my gf tell me just now. Why? Because she wishes she has baby smooth skin! He! He! Now I just realized my gf skin is no longer smooth & tender as they used to be. I couldn’t really blame her as she has being doing all the household jobs as we don’t employ any house maid. I do notice how rough my gf’s hand is as the result of doing all this house hold chores. The name ‘Murano’ is actually an Island in the Venetian Lagoon but I am not going to post about some island! Now in this post I will blog on something every guy & also some ladies is interested in! Do u love ur grandparent? I am sure u do! I love my grandparent very much, I remember when I am just a young kids my grand pa pa will secretly buy ice-cream for me without my parent knowledge & my grand ma ma will always cook my favorites dishes country style ie food cook over burning log ( somehow food taste nicer cook this way ).

But now my grandparents are old & walking is a problem, hence they stay mainly in door, I do like to stay & look after them so that they can live to the right old age. But I have a family of my own & I have to work & I can really trust a house maid to really look after my grandparents can I? What happen if they fall down? What happen if they decided to take a work in the park & get lost & they have bad memory?

Go to any housing estate & tell me what u see! I am sure u saw rows & rows of house which is identical in appearance. In fact all new housing estates are all so identical that trying to find a particular house is a big problem. U will end up driving pass each house slowly while looking at each house number, which happens to be in all small size!

I am very sure when u do renovation u have to decided a lots of things like the type of walling, plastering on the ceiling & so on. This is especially so when renovating the living room. For me I consider the ceiling a very difficult part to renovated. I might have already decided on having a big chandelier but then still got ‘empty’ space, so how to fill up this ‘empty’ space?

So how about having ceiling fans? Yes I do have air-con installed but having ceiling fans does have its advantage. I just cannot use the air-con 7/24 as the electrical bill will be sky high & I also want to have flesh air in my house. Look at the title! So what does u think I made for my gf? Personalize birthday card? Romantic letter with burn mark edges written using perfumed ink ( He! He! With romantic poem copied elsewhere, because I am lowly educated so my English no so good! )? Give her a homemade banquet of wild flower ( too poor to buy roses )? Or took her out for a country side ride on my grandfather bicycle ( Did this last time as too poor to own even a motor bike. End up being chased by some killer dogs! That is the first time & the last time I went bicycling in the countryside. )?

Well I actually did all of the above in order to show how ‘romantic’ I am! But I think what I am going to do next will beat all the above! I am going to make a ‘romantic’ candle. Making candle is not a difficult art, all u need is fragrance oil, soy wax & candle jars. All this is available from candle making supplies like Candlescience. I will then invited my gf for a romantic dinner in my house with the entire light switch off & light up my DIY candles! Sweet! Who don’t like sweet? Heck! Since baby time we have being taught to like sweet! How I wish I had bought a stainless steel mailbox like maybe a blomus stainless steel mailboxes, then for sure the mail will not be missing. He! He! See being a ‘cheapskate’ sometime I end up paying more! Any missing bills will result in late payment & with late payment I end up paying more! I should have invested in a stainless steel mailbox instead of using a plastic can! Hemmm now I understand why some people really buy good quality stuff. I remember seeing my oversea friend having a good quality fireplace equipped with stainless steel fireplace accessories like blomus stainless steel fireplace accessories. Well I suppose it pay to invested in a good fireplace. Better be safe then having the whole house on fired!

Not ‘Aunty’ No Cum! But Still Nausea?

For a lady it is that time of the month against when your ‘aunty’ will cum to pay u a visit, normally at the beginning, middle or at month-end. He! He! How do I know? Well this is the time when a few of my ladies college will suddenly go ‘sick-leave’!

Usual complain is feeling very ‘nausea’ so how to work! Well how about having some anti nausea products or maybe wear an anti nausea bracelets. Yes there is such anti nausea products in the market. But if it is not due to your monthly period but u still feel very nausea then u have better check it up with your doctor. U could be having a cancer somewhere on you body. Anyway to be on the safe side u could take some preventive cancer products. This is why I always ask gf to be very careful when having her period! Strictly no ‘pokeing activities’.

As for me if I do feel nausea I do ask my doctor to check me up thoroughly as I am very afraid to died, still got so many years of pokeing to do. Sadly I just cannot use ‘nausea’ as excuse to have a ‘sick leave’!!! How I wish I can have ‘sick leave’ at the beginning & at month-end! He! He! To my readers do u use 'nausea' as 'sick leave'???

Last nigh my friend invited me out for a late supper in a local restaurant together with a few others all in all 5 of us. It had being a long time since we have a supper together. Don’t Do ‘Pokeing’ In A Wooden House!!!

Sometime last year I & gf spend a few nights in a wooden chalet with my friend & his gf for a vacation somewhere in the countryside. Well we do have a good time together talking ‘cock’ story, having a few drinks & of cause enjoy being with mother nature.

It will be a perfect vacation if my friend has not remark how ‘active’ I have being at night. In fact he did say it is remarkable that I have not shack down the whole wooden chalet! Dam! What is feared most by rich people? Losing their money? Losing their family? Losing their friend? Well the answer is a big No! Their biggest fear is losing their life! Although losing their abilities to Poke is a close second! What is the use if u r the richest men in the world, but u r going to die tomorrow? What is the use of all the money if u cannot even poke & satisfied a lady need? Well in this case at least u has Viagra to pump up ur ‘didi’.

Now I do have a very rich friend who is in his sixties & this fellow is real paranoid about his health. I have always advice him to stay healthy always do lots of pokeing sexercises like me ( See I am as strong as a wild buffalo! )! But he says pokeing alone is not enough! He is now having magnetic therapy to keep him healthy! What the poke is a magnet therapy? This is new to me! Actually it is magnetic field therapy using magnetic therapy products. To my regular readers u should know by now I am a regular ‘poker’ pokeing my gf on regular basic as a form of sexercise & to show how much I love my gf. He! He! If I can see ‘hair’ clearly in the DVD movie then that DVD I considered as having good quality.

Well not exactly ‘No Oil’ but very very efficient in oil usage so of cause very very economy to use! I am talking about fuel! As most of us are being affected one way or another by rising fuel price ( Thank goodness it has come down a bit! ) & the biggest effect is when we go to the pump! Suddenly we discovered the meaning of ‘Money No Enough’! So we are now all very interested in ‘hybrid cars’.

Well if u owns a Toyota Prius then u should be smiling as it is a very economy car to run! Well to make it even more economy u can install it with all the Prius Accessories. For example u can install in the ‘Prius-Electric Only Mode Option’!!! Now u can say ‘Look Ma! No Oil!

Problem is how many of my reader own a Toyoda Prius??? Me? I just own a Nissan Sentra & I took like to save fuel while using my ride. And to do that I can install better ‘grounding system’ ( Actually a very simple principal, with better grounding your car spark plug will give off better & brighter spark so u will have a more efficient engine. ) & also a better ‘voltage system’ ( This system will ensure that ur spark plug will get higher & stable voltage so that it can produce a stronger & brighter spark. End result is a more efficient engine. ).

Well the above is certainly worth considering in try to save some fuel. Oh, we must also not forget where we lived. That is ‘Mother Earth’ so we must have a ‘Green Cleaners’ when we keep our ride clean. So to my dear readers, any other ideas on how to save on fuel???

I am the sort of guy who like things in its original form,( Well at least when I bought it, after that it is for me to ‘improved’ it! ) in almost all the things that I use & buy. When it comes to watching movie I am the same. I prefer to watch ‘original’ movie, the whole movie in original language just as the movie’s director intended it to be.

It is most frustration to me when the movie is censored! If the censored part is about ‘ahem ahem’ then I don’t really mind but simple kissing also censored!!!??? That is too much! Not only that even violent action part also censored! One moment I saw the actor talking & the next moment he is dead with the head missing! This is the sort of censored movie I saw everyday on my TV.

Any other alternative? Direct TV can consider or not? It is actually a Direct Sat TV in which u can watch movie of your choice. What actually make me interested in directtv is that I can get to choose the movie that I want & most importantly it is in the ‘original’ format! No censorship! The other factors which make me considered directv it that it is broadcasted in HD format. These suit me nicely as I have got a HD TV.

I am sure my reader will say it is similar to the local pay TV channel, but that local pay TV channel got censorship & it is full of ads. This Direct TV doesn’t have such censorship & ads. Now I wander if it is available here.

Well this fellow birthday is coming up real soon & I have to think up some special birthday gift for him. Hemmmm! Since he is nut about Nascar well buying him a ‘Nascar Gifts’ will be very appropriated. Now among the Nascar Merchandise can consider will be Nascar Apparel. I will properly choose Dale Earnhardt apparel since Dale Earnhardt is a very famous Nascar driver. I am very sure he will be very please with me giving him a ‘Dale Earnhardt Gifts’ on his birthday.

I don’t really mind giving him such special Dale Earnhardt Merchandise afterall how many of u have a ‘petrol head’ as your friend. Beside I have spent many hours enjoying his soup up ride.

Beautified My ‘Nest’!!!

My regular readers will know that I have a rather empty house which I call my ‘nest’. It is empty because it just consists for a sofa, some chairs & a few tables. Nothing fanciful or big, just the essential furniture only. So when friends & relative come to visit me I do feel a bit awkward showing them around my simple ‘nest’!

As usual I poke into the net looking for idea on how to beautify my ‘nest’! I came across Planters ( It is actually pots for ur indoor/outdoor plants. A new word for me. Well to me they are just ‘flower pots’! ), Indoors Planters, Outdoor Planters, Garden Planters, Window Box Planters, High End Planters & Decorative Planters! I have no idea that there are so many different types of ‘flower pots’!!!

Now for my simple house I might consider having an Indoor Planter inside my main door, a Planter each in all my bedroom, one big Outdoor Planter near the garage, one Window Box Planter on my bedroom window and finally I might just buy a High End Planter & a Decorative Planter each.

And now having decided on how to beautify my house ( by decorating it with so many different types of ‘flower pots’ ) I end up wandering what should I plant???

A Man, A Women, 5 Kids & 4 in-law!!!

Holiday season will started sometime next month & some of my friend will be planning their holiday vacations. As usual some of them will come to me & boast where they are going for their vacation. Sure enough one of my friend joint me in my morning coffee session & talk ‘cock’ & the topic is on his upcoming vacation plan.

He doesn’t seem to be very happy about it. He! He! U sees both his parent & the two in-laws are tagging along this time plus his wife & 5 kids ( He! He! My friend is quite ‘active’ at night so he ends up with 5 kids! )!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! Just nice to made up a football team!

He is not very happy because with the in-laws & his parent, there will be some lost in freedom & including his family………………hotel cost will be huge & he is not too sure where to spend the holiday with his ‘football team’!!!

Well how about having Barcelona holiday apartments ! Barcelona is a very nice city in Spain, full of great night clubs which he can spend the night away! For the wife she can spend all her time visiting all the fashionable boutiques. For the in-laws & his parent they can spends their times admiring all the great old building & ultramodern building as well. If this is not enough there is also the wonderful city beaches fronting the Mediterranean Sea. As for the kids, well they can tag along with the mummy or grandparent!

My friend have no choice but to consider staying in Barcelona apartments for his holiday as this time he is bringing along a ‘football’ team!!!Because of this, staying in hotel will be very costly. He can stay in the bedroom, his parent & the in-laws in theirs, as for the kids, the living room is big enough! If still not big enough then a few can sleep on the kitchen floor!!!

Now if his family still find it boring, how about having a food holidays in Catalonia !That shall please the kids! Ha! Ha! And I also reminded him to shoot some video while in Barcelona & title the video as ‘Spanish apartments holiday' !

I want him to have a Barcelona holiday apartments as this is something I plan to do sometime next year. So he will inform me how is it like to stay in Barcelona apartments.

No Money, No Study!!!???

My businessman friend comes to pay me a visit today! He got a very worry look on his face! Yes! I know business has being bad lately. I have in fact help him out by giving him free ‘advice’ on how to boost his businesses this last few post. No. He pay me a visit because he has more urgent monies problem on hand.

In fact he comes to visit me today because he wants to borrow some monies from me as Student Loans! ‘Wah! U so old still wants to study arrr???’ No. It is for his son who is studying oversea now. Apparently his son run out of monies & now need monies urgently to pay for some school fees! This is a case of bad spending habit & the son must have thought that his old man is a millionaire & so spend money like no tomorrow! Problem is I am a poor guy so I have no money to lend to him as Student Loans, so it will be a good idea for my friend to seek out a Private Student Loans for his son or he can also try out College Loans.

In the meantime my friend got to inform his son that business is not so good & he better don’t spend monies like no tomorrow! Really student nowadays! ‘No Money, No Study!!!’ It is like blackmailing the parent!

On my previous post, I ask my business friend to hold a trade exhibition in order to boost his business, but apparently to hold a trade exhibition is not an easy task. He need to apply for special permit & need to employed temporary stuff to man the trade stall.

Since he is already on a tight budget & yet he want to boost his sale he is not too keen to hold a trade exhibition. Well, how about placing a big one page advertisement in the local newspaper? He can state in the advertisement that his is having a big promotional products in his store. He can highlight all the promotional items in his store. Now since my friend also do bulk sale, my suggestion to him is to have or make some sort of corporate gifts for his big client. He can consider making/giving out corporate gifts like pens, mugs or other simple but lasting gifts. It can be consider as additional advertisement & can help to retain the client.

Well, I hope my idea work this time. Not much funded is needed & no need for addition stuff.

Business is getting from bad to worse. No doubt due to the big increase in fuel price. So people do less traveling & most stay at home during weekend. So it is not surprise that my friend who is businessmen complain that there are hardly any people visiting his store. So with less people, of cause less sales. He come to me for idea on how to boost up his business ( He! He! I am also a part time consultant on all sort of matter! )!

My suggestion to him is to organize a trade show exhibition! A trade show exhibits of all his well know products in his store! Yes with a trade show exhibits ,people will want to visit his store. Of cause during the trade show exhibits he must give special discount on the product on show.

Cost? Organizing a trade show exhibits is not cheap & my friend want to cut cost if possible. Couldn’t really blame him as at the end of the day he still needs to make a profit or at least cover the cost. My suggestion to him is to make use of table covers to advertise the goods he intended to exhibits ( table covers are just like normal table cover except instead of flowery or plain cover, it is printed with product logo & sort of act like a banner ). If that is not enough he can add in or use table top display to advertise the good on display (table top display is similar to table cover except it is a banner place on table top ) .Both type of advertisements are cheap & cost effective.

That is my suggestion to my business friend. I do hope his business will improve. I hate to lose a weekend drinking partner ( He! He! Drink mostly sponsored by him! )!

Well I have being pokeing into the net looking up things & topic which any guys are interested in like gadgets, guy’s toy ( no the type use for pokeing ) like plays station, computer etc. Oh also a lots of ‘nice’ site ( ‘blue’ site ) which is most ‘stimulating’ for me. I believed pokeing into such ‘nice’ site do keep me feeling I am forever 25!

Well, gf of cause want to use the internet as well ( Dam! She is getting quite good at this! It is now getting hard to keep my pokeing site a secret! )! And she is interested in her ‘office’ equipment! Now her ‘office’ is of cause the Kitchen!

She want to know more about pots & pans so that she can cook good food for me! Hemmmm good pots & good pans can cook good food? I don’t really believed in this! He! He! I do hope she will use the pans to cook food only & not to use it to whack me!

She is also interested to know more about kitchen knives! Which sort to be used to cut what sort of meat & cut which part of the body! She say using a good kitchen knives will also made her cook good food! Hard to believe but a lady holding a kitchen knife is a very ‘believing’ lady! So believed whatever she says!

It rain heavily last night! Actually it sort of rain cats, dogs & frogs last night! A very good night to do pokeing! This is what I did last night & after that sleep like a death pig as I am death tired from the extreme pokeing. I am very sure that is what the whole neighborhood did last night!

‘Holy Cow!!!! Where the hell is my 4x4???’ Bellow my neighbor ( on my left ) at the top of his voice! ‘What the Poke!!! Look like your 4x4 is being stolen! BTW didn’t your 4x4 alarm go off???' I asked him. ‘Blardy Mary! I didn’t hear nothing! It is raining like a blardy hell!’ He replied! Yeah! No doubt pokeing away like me! ‘Oh! I am sure u can track your 4x4! You got fixed GPS Tracking on your 4x4 or not?’ I asked him. ‘Nope!’ Tough luck!

This got me thinking! First my neighbor on the left ( a few post back ) lost their puppies & now my neighbor lost his 4x4! Will it be my turn next? Oh! Gosh! I am a poor fellow living in a near empty house ( That is why I don’t even have a bed! Have to do pokeing on the floor! )! The only thing which I can consider ‘valuable’ is my gf! What if someone decided to ‘steal’ her? Who is going to cook for me? Look after me? Clean my ‘empty’ house? And most importantly how can I do pokeing ( U don’t expect me to do DIY all the time! )!!!!

I think I better installed a GPS Tracking device on my gf! He! He! Maybe I will install this GPS Tracking device on her bra’s pad ( Shhhh!!! Gf got small ‘nen nen’ /breast, so she use push up bra to make her ‘nen nen’ look bigger! I got cheated by her this way! )! Now just in case she didn’t wear bra I think I better also install another GPS Tracking device on her panties pad ( Yeah ! She got flat butt also! Yes! I got cheated too! ) as back up! Now with this GPS Tracking devices on her, if she get ‘stolen’ on a rainy night I can always know where to find her!

OMG! What if gf know about this GPS Tracking device & install it on me without me knowing it! Dam! She might know where I am, when I decided to stay overnight at my ‘friend’ ( A lady of cause! )house! I will have a heart attack if she says ‘I Know Where U Poke Last Night!!!!’

Oh! If only my neighbor ( on my right ) have install GPS Tracking device on their puppies! Poor puppy! He! He! If the wife have installed GPS Tracking device on her hubby! Then she don’t have to constantly ‘find’ her lost hubby in the nearest drinking hole!

I assume everybody has a house. A place where we can all call our home. Well I am like any Tom, Dick & Harry out there. I too have a house, a rather simple house which I own ( Actually it is being owned by a bank. Until I have settle the entire housing loan, before I can call it my house. ).

When I first bought this house I am very happy until I have the big problem of furnishing it! I am sure almost everyone pay great attention to the living room, as this is the part of the house which is ‘shown’ to visitors! So must have a beautiful & grand living room! So that at least the guests have a good impression!

No to me! I don’t have many guests & most guests are gf’s friends & relatives. So impression is not important to me. So what if I have a simple living room with a simple wooden sofa set. Not enough seat? Can still sit on the floor mah!

He! He! I am ‘Horny Ang Moh’ with the capital ‘HORNY’ in my name! And what did a ‘horny’ fellow do most? POKEING ( Farking )! And where do u do the most pokeing? The bedroom of cause ( Well, actually I do pokeing all over my house but bedroom is the venue! )!

Because of pokeing I choose Bedroom Furniture very carefully! Should I choose Modern Bedroom Furniture ( Very modern looking & good for pokeing! ) or should I choose Contemporary Bedroom Furniture ( Very romantic environment, good for pokeing too! )? It is a real headache choosing between the two types of Bedroom Furniture!

Well in the end I put all this on hold ( no money to buy now ) & so at the moment I end up doing pokeing on bedroom floor!

So far I have being rather successful in persuading her to stay at home. After having showed her vacation in the north, she is now bugging me to go & have a vacation in Europe.

Now ‘Wolfy’ Gone Missing!

Thief cases are on the increase everyday! Just went out for dinner or movie & u came back home to find your home broken in! So much so that now most home install alarm & CC camera on their home.

But then I just prefer the old faction ‘alarm & security system’. That is I rear a big & fierce dog. I never trusted this electronic system. Say so to my neighbor, so that fellow quickly go & buy himself two Germen Sheppard puppies.

Problem is before the puppy can grown up to be a big dog it has become a lost puppy!! My neighbor search high & low for their wolfy, but they just couldn’t find it anywhere. I really feel sorry for them. At least I console to them as it is two Germen Sheppard puppies it is very highly that it is being stolen to be sold off or maybe the thief like to have it for themselves. It is highly unlikely to end up in the cooking pot!

So it seems that thief nowadays also steal puppies!

See! What happen when u spend a boring weekend with gf! I look at gf & gf watch Tv showing some boring Korean love drama ( As usual showing two Korean love birds chasing each other, laugh for 10 minutes, cry for 1 hour. Totally boring! )!

Then I say to her ‘How cum u can spend the whole weekend watch such boring series?’!!! That it is! She exploded ‘Why the poke can’t u do something………………instead of just laying around doing nothing! And for heaven sake! Do some exercise! U r really getting FAT!!! Why don’t u do some running!’ Whoa! Women having pms! So cranky & in real bad mood! My respond is……………'Oui! I am not FAT!' Beside sexerise is the only exercise I know! 'I shall be poking u right now if u r not having ur ‘off season!'!'

Honestly I never regarded myself as ‘fat’! I prefer to use the word ‘big’!!! How can I be ‘fat’ when I can do regular ‘pokeing’ ( facking )! Ok! Ok! Maybe I have a big belly ( size 40” ) but other part of my body also big! So I don’t consider myself ‘fat’!!!

Gf want me to do some running exercise. Well maybe I will consider that. Now to do some running exercise I need running shoe which I don’t have. It has being ages since I last wear a running shoe. The last time I wear was during my school day. Back then I like Nike, New Balance, Reebok & Adidas! It is cool to wearing running shoe back then & beside I weared running shoe to ‘chase chick’ only!!!

Hemmmmm!!! Maybe I better consider gf suggestion to have a running exercise! After all a guy with strong leg is a strong poker! OMG! Is that how gf want to tell me I am no longer a strong POKER???

Bore! I am so boreeeeeeeeeee!!! Normally during the weekend I will be traveling out somewhere to the town, shopping centre or any place but at home. To the town spending my time in my favorite café talking cock & bull story ( wasting my time ), in shopping center windows shopping or chick watching!

But now with the big fuel price increase, I have no choice but to stay at home! Just traveling using my car will suck my wallet dry! That is fuel money only! Beside this all prices have increased! A glass of ice milk tea now cost $1.70! It use to be only $1.20!

He! He! Luckily I can still stay home & do a lots of weekend pokeing with gf! But unfortunately this weekend gf is having her ‘off season’ ( having her monthly period ) so no pokeing!

I am bore! So very bore arrrrrrrrrrr!!! How I wish I have a Xbox! Then I can play XBox Games. But then Xbox quite expensive so just dreaming about playing XBox Games. So how about PS3 Games? He! He! No PS3 either. This wan also expensive. So just another dream. PS2 Games? This wan I got! I got PS2 player, but all the PS2 Games I got are old wan. So have to buy new PS2 Games. Wii Games? This is rather new to me. I heard that to play Wii Games u need to really ‘play’ the game will all sort of ‘action’!!! Sound complicated to me.

Dreaming, dreaming & dreaming! No money! So stay at home! Even playing game just dreaming only! The only ‘activities’ I can do to on a boring weekend is ‘pokeing’!

Honestly speaking I am a cheapskate fellow! My regular readers will know that I am always on the look out for ‘value for money’. From all aspect in life, everything in life! This is even more so now every things is on the upward trend ( except my income :( )!

All this is due to the big increase in fuel price! Now every thing go up! Just go & have a full tank of gas & u will see the big increase that u will have to pay! It is no surprise that transportation cost go sky high! And with this, all things’ prices go up as well!

Since I have work so hard everyday just to have a decent life, I do think it is only fair I am ‘entitle’ to some ‘reward’ in life! And having a holiday to me is a ‘reward’! Oh yes! I love to travel around the world. But I am not rich & the ‘cheapskate’ in me, have me searching for ‘bargain’ airline tickets & of cause cheap hotels ! For this I poke in here ! I can get all the information I want to ‘reward’ myself. I can find the cheapest rate for airline fare & also the cheapest hotel I can afford. Not only that to save & for convenience sake I can also find rental for cars in my holiday destination. All very convenience for me!

Well, that is some ‘reward’ I can look forward to once I have saved enough. He! He! If someone is will to bring me out for a holiday I will be most happy to accept :) !

Hubby Gone Missing!

‘Larling! Larling! Larlingggggggggggggggggg! Where the fark r uuuuuuuuuuuuu???!!!’ Yell my neighbor at the top of her voice! He! He! Apparently her hubby has gone AWOL yet against! That fellow like to go AWOL as he say he felt like being ‘cage’ up with a tigress! A visit to any nearby ‘drinking hole’, the ‘tigress’ will find her ‘missing hubby’!

That however only applied to ‘missing hubby’! For missing dog that is a different matter. It is highly unlikely that u will find your dog in any ‘drinking hole’ like u find your ‘missing hubby’! He! He! Unless your pets like to drink beer!

What happen if your hubby really went missing & u can find him at any ‘drinking hole’???!!! U will have got to make a police report after sometime have passed which might not be what u want. U want him to be found immediately!

Now I wander, can I make use of SPCA service? He! He! Photo of hubby among the photo of missing dogs, cats & maybe a few lizards & snakes!

I sometime wander how it feels like to be a woman. If u asks any women most of them will say they will rather be a man then a woman! Especially during that time of the month when their ‘aunty’ cum to visit them ( having period )! All women will say guy are dam lucky! Don’t have ‘period’! Apart from this not much complains being a woman I suppose.

Being a woman they get to try on so many type of clothing! And they get to put on make-up & beautified themselves! Not only that they also got & make use of ‘enhancements’ like breast enhancers, butt padding and so on! Not only this, they also got to wear very sexy hosiery & lingerie! All this made a guy go head over heel if a woman applies all this on herself!

Privacy is an important ‘commodity’ which you should not take for granted. I am sure everyone have some sort of ‘secret’ which we have no intention of sharing. Something which is very private & dear to our heart.

Just like every Tom, Dick & Harry out there I too have lots of ‘secret’. ‘Secrets’ like very private photo & document which is for my eye only & maybe to who I trusted. All this ‘secrets’ are all stored in my computer ( Nowadays very ‘advance’! He! He! I use to keep all my ‘secret’ like private collection of ‘nice’ magazines & picture in a box buried in my backyard when I am a kids! ).

But the big problem now is when I go online connected to the internet, my computer privacy is being compromised! I can never know when my computer’s content is being accessed by ‘outsider’!

So I have no choice but to install antispyware on my computer! So do u have a lots of ‘secrets’ stored in yours computer?

Mention ‘office’, straight away we think of work! We think of it as a place which is formal in environment equipment with all the usual ‘office’ equipments. Equipment like desk, computer, printer & maybe also an aquarium. A place where we work to earn a living.

But do u know we can also have ‘office’ at home too? And in almost every home this ‘office’ is manage by a lady! He! He! Whenever people come to visit me I will show them around my humble house & one of the areas which I will show to them is gf’s ‘office’!!! Well actually for us guy we are not interested in a lady’s office but for ladies that is a different matter! In this ‘office’ gf do her work to make us guy happy!

Gf like to equipped her ‘office’ with the latest ‘gadgets’ such as the latest ‘storage’ system, latest ‘burner’ system……………..just like what we have in our usual office. All this latest ‘equipment’ in gf’s office is real conversations topic with her gang!

I Am Bored!

When I am bored………….I poke into the internet hoping to find some interesting site to relieved my boredom. One thing which interested me a lot is cars! I am most interested in cars, especially germen car. So classy & build real tough.

Hence it is my ambition to visit Germany, home of Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen & Porches! While in Germany I will like to stay in Munich Hotels. Then I will like to pay a visit to France! For her cars & most importantly for her very beautiful French ladies! Of cause I will stay in Paris Hotels. Talking about ladies! I heard there is one very famous ‘pokeing’ district in Holland! I have no idea where but never mind, if I cannot find this ‘pokeing’ district I might as well see some wind mill! While in Holland I will like to stay in Rotterdam Hotels.

Sickly ‘Horny Ang Moh’!

Life has is up & down ( just like my ‘didi’ sometime up sometime down )! And being sick I considered it as a ‘down’ part of my daily life. Why down? When u r sick, every things is down. Your mood is down ( no mood to do pokeing ), energy level is down ( no energy to poke ), appetite is down ( don’t feel like licking ‘oyster’ ), attentive level is down ( don’t feel like to pay attention to gf 'fondling' ) and so on. In short life is a big ‘down’!!!!

I have being sick on Monday ( the day which I hated most in a week ) so I have to take a sick leave! A visit to my usual clinic reveled full house! Apparently a lots of people will fall sick on Monday! I cannot wait for the doctor to exam me ( I feel like collapsing at any time! )! Since I know the doctor quite he just issued me a sick leave certificate & some pill without 'examining' me.

So just to make sure I will get well real soon, I just go to the next door Pharmacy store and ask the fellow to recommend the best & most powerful medicine for ‘flu’!!! I am lucky that I know the owner of this Pharmacy store so I can trust his judgment in his recommendation. This made me realized that having a good Pharmacy store is important just in case of emergency & all clinics are closed. And of cause by going directly to the Pharmacy store you save a lots on doctor consultant fee! To save even more you can even check out this Pharmacy store ( it is approved by pharmacychecker.com ).

See I have being trying to cut cost on my daily life! Even sickly cost!

Apparently after pokeing into all the online shopping sites ( in my previous entry ) she is ‘beh tahan’ ( can’t stand its anymore in hokkien ) now! She wants my CC no. so that she can order all the stuffs that she wants!

Aiyoh! So how! My CC no money inside! This call for desperate measure! I ask her to poke into this site! Yes! It is a site on booking hotel! I ask her to poke into Barcelona, Prague & also London & ask her, what they have all in common? Yes! Place of interest & Shopping! So do u want to visit such place? My gf is very happy as she though I will book the hotel & bring her there ( Pity! As I really like to make my gf happy! But I am a poor fellow! It is nice to have a gf! Someone to love & to poke ( fark )! When ur gf is happy u r happy! U will find living wonderful! But when ur gf is unhappy & she start nagging! I can tell u that it is a living hell! She will go on nagging & nagging!

Unfortunately my gf nowadays nag a lot! All this because of the recent fuel increase! I have being staying indoor & not much weekend traveling! My gf is bored! She misses her weekly shopping trips. Suddenly I have a bright idea! I ask her to poke into this Great Shopping site ( Yes! Got 30,000 stores inside! Can find all sort of stuff inside! )! I even find X-Box & Halo 3 Wireless Headset! Light! I Need Light!

Pokeing ( farking ) in the dark sometime is good! But got feeling cannot see is only half the fun only! That is why if got light, can see the facial expression so much better! So lighting is a must! Different type of lighting promote different mood! No, surely u don’t want to fitted a 10,000 watt bright as sunlight lighting in your bedroom do you? The sort of lighting u can find in a football field!

No! For bed room lighting I need to find Lamps which promote romantic mood! I want to find lamps and lamp shades which is most suitable for my bedroom giving off soft light, just light enough for me to see ‘detail’ & good for pokeing!

Besides finding lamps for pokeing purpose I also need to find nice table lamps to be use on my computer table! Oh yes I do poke into internet late into the night! So I don’t want to switch on the main lamp & also I want to save on some electricity! And of cause pokeing into internet, I found this great site on desk lamps also!

So many different sorts of Lamps to choose from, which one is good for pokeing & my computer desk?

‘Bek Tahan Arrrr!!!!’ in hokien meant ‘Cannot Stand Arrrr!!!’! Soooooooooo small how to seeeeeeeeeeee!!! I am referring to this entry! For someone like me who spend almost all his free time doing three things, during his free time this is terrible, horrible & vegetable!

The three things are……Pokeing ( farking )! Playing Pc Game & watching TV ( ‘Ahem ahem type of cause! ). Pokeing need gf help unless I DIY! Playing pc game….all finished already ( RTS only! Old men like me always died when playing role! ). That only left watching Tv as my main spare time activities!

TV only 21”! So small cannot even see actor’s ‘didi’ & also actress’s oyster ( I have got use to 34” Tv already! ) when watching ‘ahem ahem’ movies! Luckily my friend cum to my rescue! He is kind enough to lend me a 32” Panasonic LCD TX-32LX75 Tv!

Wah! Look dam nice in my living room! Look very high tech compart to my old crt Tv! But look nice also no use! Watching movie on LCD Tv got different wan! Immediately I notice in dark scene no detail can be seem! All dark! If I look at that ‘area’ ( in ahem ahem movie ) all dark, even cannot see hair wan ( Some ahem ahem actress no shaving wan! Very bushy! )! Another things is, fast action all blur blur ( LCD Tv got reaction time! So fast action will give blurring effect as Lcd cannot change fast enough, 8ms reaction time! ) wan! So fast pokeing action all blur blur! This is terrible, horrible & vegetable! However if u use LCD Tv to watch Korean love drama, should be OK as all action slow slow wan! Even running to kiss each other also in slow motion!

From this I know due to my unique ‘horny’ requirement LCD tv is not suitable! Luckily this Panasonic LCD TX-32LX75 is only for my use temporary! I am looking forward to some things much better!

By ‘important’ mails I meant bills! All sorts of bills! Electric bill, water bill, Astro bill ( sat tv bill ) & most importantly my CC bills!!!

If I didn’t received all this bills I will be in deep trouble! Pay electric bill late or forgot to pay then no electric! Same for water bill! No water then maybe I have to bath in the nearest river! Astro bill no pay then no Tv ( No too bad as Astro’s program nowadays is shity! )! Lastly but most important if I forgot to pay my CC bill, I will be charged interested at ‘loan shark’ rate!

I might not received my various ‘important’ mail as the postmen just throw all this mail into my drive way as I don’t have a Mailbox installed! So some of this 'important' mail got lost a blow away by winds or neighbor's cats ate it! I think I really have to consider having a Mailbox in front of my house!
